Davlat Toshev is a master of the Bukhara miniature, a restorer of ancient manuscripts and the founder of the “Ustoz-shogird” school in Bukhara, where more than a hundred students learn miniature painting, calligraphy, book restoration and the “Abru-Bahor” technique free of charge. His works have been exhibited in France, Germany, Switzerland, the USA, Israel and Kazakhstan.
