Davlat Toshev Boronovich, a follower of the school of miniatures, a master of the brush, who discovered the secrets of the fine art of miniatures and contributed to the development of the Bukhara school of miniatures, was born in 1975 into a family of mechanics in the city of Bukhara district of the Bukhara region. Due to his interest in fine arts, nature and manuscripts, after graduating from high school, he went to Namangan. For 3 years he studied the secrets of painting from Bakhtiyor Hanafiyaev. Then he mastered the art of miniatures from his brother, master miniaturist Davron Toshev, created his first compositions and became famous among miniaturists.
Davlat Toshev makes a significant contribution to familiarizing the whole world with the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan and the miniature art of Bukhara. Among them, in 2001-2003, “Craftsmen of Central Asia” in Almaty, Kazakhstan, “Uzbek Miniature” in Paris, France in 2005, “Days of Uzbekistan” in Bonn, Germany in 2006, “Art Marches” in Thionville, France, Noel", exhibition "Traditional Miniature" in Lyon, France in 2008, "The Art of Miniature" in Grenoble, France in 2008, Uzbek Miniature in Lille, France in 2009, Santa Fe, USA in 2009. in Santa Fe. Exhibition in 2010 in Sion, Switzerland and in Marseille, France. Organized his personal exhibition in the French city of Logmagmaison.
In 2019, “L'histoire de la peinture miniature” in France, in 2021 in Al-Fahm, Israel, he organized personal exhibitions.
In 2019, master Davlat Toshev founded the Ustoz-Shogird children's arts and crafts center. Currently, this center teaches the art of miniature painting, calligraphy and book repair, as well as the secrets of repairing antique books.
In a short period of time, this center has produced many winners of international competitions.
In addition, Davlat Toshev, in collaboration with Bukhara State University, revived the forgotten “Abri Bahar” style, which is currently the highest in Turkey, but whose original homeland is Bukhara.
Currently, Davlat Toshev teaches the secrets of his craft to more than 100 of his students on a mentor-student basis, and his works are included in the national catalog of folk art masters.
