
Davlat Toshev is an artist from Bukhara, specializing in miniatures.
When creating his unique patterns, he draws inspiration from traditional miniature painting. The state uses old and new handmade paper in its creations. At the moment, he exhibited samples of Uzbek miniatures in France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Russia, Italy, Ukraine, participated in international festivals, and held personal exhibitions. In addition to painting, calligraphy and miniatures, Davt is an internationally recognized master who restores the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan (ancient books, manuscripts).


Davlat Toshev Boranovich, a follower of the school of miniatures, a master of the brush, who discovered the secrets of the fine art of miniatures and contributed to the development of the Bukhara school of miniatures, was born in 1975 into a family of mechanics in the city of Bukhara district of the Bukhara region. Due to his interest in fine arts, nature and manuscripts after graduating from high school, he went to Namangan. For 3 years he studied the secrets of painting from Bakhtiyor Hanafiyaev. Then he mastered the art of miniatures from his brother, master miniaturist Davron Toshev, created his first compositions and became famous among miniaturists. It is noted that this center, which began operating in 2019, provides free lessons to young people. In the complex, under the leadership of Davlat Toshev, more than 30 students study painting and the art of “abru-bahor”. The youngest of them is 9 years old, and the oldest is 31 years old, of which 11 are disabled children. According to Davlat Toshev, the first exhibition of artisan students was organized in 2020. The works of the first signs of the school, as well as miniatures depicting the science of evenness, were presented at the exhibition “Ustoz ogitlari”. According to him, in cooperation with France, it was planned that about 30 young people would come to Bukhara on a 15-day trip and spend 8 days at this school. But due to the pandemic, this project was postponed. The students also plan to visit France.
